L.A.B.2 Make Up Brushes.

Today I am going to introduce you to a brand that I had never heard of until I kindly got the chance to review their brushes. The company is L.A.B.2.  which actually stands for live and breathe beauty. Now I was kindly sent 3 different sets of their brushes; the triple threat multi-purpose brush, the Strokes Of Genius Brush Kit and the I'm Turning Pro Brush Kit. Now this review is definitely well overdue but I wanted to really test out the brushes and as I don't wear make up every day, it definitely took me longer to decide whether I liked them.

The Triple Threat Multi-Purpose Brush: I've never actually owned a multi-purpose brush until I received this one, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. The purpose of this brush was to apply powder blush and bronzer for a full, buildable coverage. The brush has FiberLuxe™ Technology to provide superior pigment pick-up and optimal release. Personally I didn't see any superior pigment when using this brush and I wouldn't say it gave full buildable coverage. The brush has also got a soft touch handle for extra grip and comfort which I also personally didn't see the difference. I personally wouldn't pick this brush up again if I ever needed a replacement because I didn't see a difference. This brush retails at £11.99 but I believe Superdrug currently have a offer on so you may be able to get it for £8.99.

Strokes Of Genius Brush Kit: I was really excited to receive this kit as it has eye brushes in and I love new eye brushes to create new looks. The purpose of this kit is to provide you with a 'premium quality' that gives precise application for all eye products and is meant to give you a professional result. I really liked this kit and most of the brushes were good. I liked using the eyeshadow brush as it did distribute the eyeshadow evenly onto my lids and brow bone if I were using a light shade. I also really enjoyed using the crease brush as it allowed me to soften harsh lines for a more natural look. I also loved the brow and lash groomer, I definitely enjoyed the brow groomer the most as it combed my brows and left me with a nice shape. I also liked the brow and eyeliner brush but I found that it was a little too hard so at times it made my brows look very harsh and dark and so I had to apply the product very slowly and lightly. The pointed eyeliner brush for me was a huge disappointment and I found it hard to apply my eyeliner with this. Overall the kit wasn't too bad. This kit retails for £18.99 but I believe Superdrug currently have a offer on so you can get this kit for £14.99.

I'm Turning Pro Brush Kit: I was also really excited about receiving this kit as I wanted to compare it to my Real Techniques brushes. This kit is a set of 4 essential brushes that are designed for flawless, high definition make up application. I really liked the foundation brush, I personally liked using it more for concealer more than foundation but it left a lovely finish. I personally don't think it's as good as the Real Techniques foundation brush but this brush is still good. I really liked the buffing brush too, I used this brush for my application of my power and I wouldn't say it gave me 'full coverage' like it states but it gave a nice application but not quite airbrushed. My favourite brush out of this kit is definitely the contour brush. It did give me subtle definition and the shape of it allows you to really get into the hollows of your cheeks. Again, I liked the eyeshadow brush in this kit too as it gave an even application of the eyeshadow. This kit was definitely my favourite out of all of the products I received. This retails for £18.99 but I believe Superdrug are currently selling it for £17.99.

All L.A.B. 2 Brushes are made with love, there are no animal derived components and they are hypoallergenic and dermatologist tested. I found that these brushes also wash and dry well. I probably wouldn't personally repurchase these brushes but they are definitely not the worst brushes I've used, I found with some of the brushes the hairs did come out and got stuck in the foundation or concealer which was a little annoying but other than that they aren't the worst but they aren't the best I've ever used.

Have you tried L.A.B.2 Brushes?

What I Got For Christmas 2015

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. Today's post is going to be about what I got for Christmas and as always I'm just putting a disclaimer out there, that I am in no way bragging about the items I have received but I just simply wanted to share what I got with you all. I'm going to try and link as many items as I can but some of them might not be possible. I've actually unpackaged most of my items but most of them came in sets.
French Connection Eye Perfection Collection - Includes an eyeliner, a brow pencil, a mascara, a eyeshadow brush, an eyeshadow palette, tweezers, cream eyeshadow, primer, sharpener and eyelash curlers. I'm really looking forward to trying out their make up because I didn't even realise they sold make up. Review to come in 2016!
Collection Extreme 24 hour felt tip liner in black - I was so happy to receive this, if you didn't already know this is my favourite ever felt tip eyeliner and it is honestly the best. Mine dried up a few months back and I never got round to purchasing another one but now I don't have to because I have a brand new one. It's so affordable but so good.
Eylure Brow Pencil in No.20 Mid Brown  - I've never tried any products from Eylure but I was excited to see this. I have to admit, I'm not really one of those people who have 'on point brows' but I try to make them some what presentable. I'm not sure if my family were trying to hint at me but I shall simply carry on with my brows as normal with how I shape them etc. Normally I use my eyebrow kit from Beauty UK to do my brows so a brow pencil is definitely something new to me and I cannot wait to try it out and see if I prefer it.
Nails Inc - Not quite sure on the colour and it is a smaller size but I love the colour.
The Body Shop Lippy Star Wand - This is the second year in a row that I've got the fruity lip balms from The Body Shop. They really are lovely and they always look so cute when they are packaged.
The Body Shop Moringa Body Butter - I love a good body butter and I think everyone in my family knows this and so I have yet another body butter to add to my collection. I tend to use body butters a few days before I fake tan or with a gradual tan just to give me more moisture and it means I can have a nice smooth application.
Nivea Minis for Her Gift Set - Deodorant, lip balm, shower crème and a moisturiser. I really loved this little set and it is perfect for travelling. This was a really practical gift and I love Nivea.
Elegant Touch Supernova Nail Set - Now I'm not really a fake nail person, I'm not really a nail person. It's one of those things that I find a 'chore' and I just simply don't find the joy in painting my nails although these nails are very unique and pretty, so I shall give them a go and I will have a review up about them in 2016.
Cath Kidston Nail File - Couldn't find a link but it is very pretty.
W7 The Nudes Palette - This is a lovely travel sized palette with all very 'me' colours. I'm definitely a simple girl when it comes to eyeshadows and this palette is really lovely, so I'll be sure to review it.
I'm not quite sure where the phone case is from but I'd like to say Tesco.

New Look Necklace - I'm not sure that there's a link for this necklace but you might be able to find it in your local New Look store. It's so gorgeous and it goes with anything!

I'm not quite sure where the bracelet or the other necklace is from but they are all very pretty.

Now you may have noticed from about Summer this year that I have really been getting into candles and my friends and family have definitely got the hint this year. I feel like I'm obsessed with candles now but at least I have something to help me relax and something that will make my room smell amazing.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Candle - Although I took a photo of the box the round way round so it's not in English, this is a lovely candle. I've been wanting to try a candle from The Body Shop but then I never had the chance to pick one up but this scent is absolutely incredible.

Yankee Candle White Linen and Lace - Then my best friend kindly got me a Yankee Candle and I nearly cried! I love Yankee Candles and I think it's such a luxury that I now own one and the scent is one of my favourites. So I am a very happy gal and cannot wait to burn this.

Chocolate Brussel Sprouts - Now I did get a lot more chocolate than this but I've been sharing it all with my family so I decided not to feature the rest but look how amazing these chocolates are! They are a massive joke, seen as I hate Brussel sprouts but I'm sure I'll enjoy these.

The Body Shop Strawberry Body Polish - I believe I tried this last year and I really enjoyed using it. I had run out of all my body scrubs and body polish and so I was happy to receive this and I love The Body Shop.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum gift set - I did get a bath sponge thing with this set too but I'm not quite sure where it's gone but this gift set is gorgeous, although I do believe it's not available anymore so I think it might have been limited edition for Christmas.

The Body Shop Glazed Apple gift set - I have been wanting this set for quite a while and felt so happy when I received it. The tin is really cute and I love how the products inside are all travel sized so they will be great to take away with me, if I end up going away. My love for The Body Shop grows year by year and my family definitely knows. Again, I couldn't find a link to this set so I'm not sure if it was just limited edition for Christmas.

Impulse Body Fragrance - Tease, Romantic Spark and Into Glamour. Again, if you know me, you'll know I absolutely love Impulse body sprays. I have these in all of my bags and they go everywhere with me. My favourite is definitely tease but I do love the smell of all of them.

The Body Shop Owl Sponge - Again another item from The Body Shop, this is just a fun owl sponge and it's a great little stocking filler.

Lush Little Snow Fairy Set - I absolutely adore Lush and I was lucky to receive a Snow Fairy gift set. I managed to get Snow Fairy last year for Christmas and I have to admit, it's not my favourite scent ever but again everything is travel sized and so it's good for if you are going away. In the set it also had the 'fun' product and it's pink so I cannot wait to try it.

Lynx Attract for her Duo Gift Set - Just to add to my amazing collection of things to make me smell nice, I also got a Lynx gift set which includes a shower gel and a body spray and so I'll be sure to let you know if I like it.

Primark Pyjamas -  Possibly the worse ever angle for a photo but I currently look like a zombie but beside that, I have a new pair of Primark pyjamas and I honestly think they're the best ones I've had to date. They are so comfy, so cosy and just lovely.

Strictly Come Dancing Tickets - Yes that's right. My last Christmas present I received was a Strictly Come Dancing Ticket and I cannot wait to go to Leeds and watch it. This will be the first kind of 'experience' present I've ever got and I'm honestly so exciting and it's next month. Stay tuned because I'm sure I'll have a post going up about it.

So that's everything I got for Christmas! I'd love to know in the comments everything you got for Christmas so do let me know or put a link down below to your 'What I got for Christmas 2015' posts.

I hope you all continue to have a lovely Christmas break!

Merry Christmas from ThePerksofMeg

Hello everyone. I know it's been a while since I last posted but I've had illness after illness and also I've had assignments to do for college but hopefully come the new year, I will be back in full spin as I have lots of exciting posts coming your way. As I say all the time, thank you for your support for my little blog on the internet. Your comments and you just simply reading my blog means the world to me. I hope you've all had a lovely Christmas and although ideally this post should have gone live yesterday, I just simply didn't have time.

So this is probably the shortest post ever but I am hoping to post at least 2 more times this year before 2016! I'm planning on trying to get a 'What I got for Christmas 2015' post up but the natural lighting is just not having it but I shall try my best. I know a lot of people are quite put off by posting what they got for Christmas and I still debated whether to do it but when I do this post, it's not so I can brag about what I've got, it is simply to share with the internet some of lovely products/items that I got and it may give inspiration. I personally love reading those types of posts because I'm super nosey and it makes me lust after so many products that my bank balance just won't allow but nevertheless I love seeing what other people have received. In my eyes, it's not about the gift, it's the thought that counts but I do love sharing and reading what people have got.

So I hope you continue to have a lovely Christmas!

Struggle with online shopping? Size Styler could be the solution for you!

Hello everyone. So today's post is in collaboration with Size Styler and without further ado, I shall get on with today's post.
Size Styler is a brand new game changing website and is set to revolutionise the way clothes are bought.
I know from personal experience, how annoying it is when you cannot get clothes to fit you. I've tried so many pairs of jeans on from various shops and they differ from place to place. In one store I can go in I can't even get the pair of jeans past my thighs, yet I'll go to another store and the exactly same size is too big and are falling off me. Have you ever experienced this?
When you look at the chart above, you can clearly compare UK sizes in different stores. It really is quite shocking how a size 10 is actually a different size in other stores depending on the retailer. Looking at the chart, it really proves the struggle on why we don't know what our exact size is and this is a real pain when it comes to online shopping. Online returns are very high for this reason and Size Styler is designed so that retailers have lower returns when selling online. 82% of women think shops should be clearer about their sizes.
Mike Bailey could not understand why sizes were so different between retailers and why universal sizing wasn’t possible across the UK retail landscape. He wanted to find a solution as to why UK consumers were forced to remember their size in each store. And so Size Styler was born!
After over 15 years in fashion retail, working for beautiful brands such as Liberty and Net a Porter, Mike decided to solve this problem for shoppers.
Size Styler works by taking your body measurements in a simple process that takes moments and then allows you to shop from items that will fit you properly. Size Styler could be your life saviour. I know it'll definitely be mine! Over the months and even years, the amount of items I've had to return through online shopping is quite astounding and so I'll definitely be using Size Styler in the future when online shopping.
If you have the same struggles that I do then Size Styler is definitely something you should have a look at as it could be your happy solution to not having to return items as much when online shopping.
Until next time!

Oates & Co Review.

Hello everyone. So we're now into mid November and I really don't know where all these weeks are going. I've been super busy this month, with assignments and deadlines, placement and my maths resit, that I've barely had time to write my blog. So if my blog is a little quiet for the rest of this month, that's probably the reason why. Although I love my blog and I want to thank anyone and everyone that reads it, I just have to prioritise what's best for me and unfortunately my college assignments come before my blog. Hopefully as we near Christmas, things will slow down a bit. Anyways, now that I've babbled on as per usual about my life, onto today's post.

As you may or may not know, I've become obsessed with candles over these past few months and you may have seen in a recent post which was 'My Top 3 Candles For Autumn' post that I mentioned this particular candle that I am going to talk about today. If you want to read that post, you can read it here.

So this particular candle that I am going to be talking about today is from the company Oates & Co. With a focus on hard-to-find, unusual but simple pieces, Oates & Co. is a carefully curated collection of beautiful yet practical homeware and gifts, helping you create a relaxed, lived-in home. Oates & Co. have been one of my favourite blog collaborations of this year and I just love the company so much. The customer service is great and I love the website. So please go have a look at the website here because you are bound to find something lovely for your home.

Now the candle is actually made by the company Bramley. When this candle arrived I could smell it through the box - which is absolutely insane. It is so strongly scented and at first I wasn't too keen on the scent but when it was burning, I grew to love it and so I finally absolutely loved it. It definitely brings a fresh fragrance into your room and if you're into strong, fresh scents, this candle is definitely one you should check out.

The packaging is nice and the actual candle is lovely. I love the glass jar and I have reused this for pens and pencils since it has all been burnt by now. The only problem I had with this candle was that it sometimes didn't burn evenly and then when it did, the wick (even though it had been trimmed, like instructed) it still left lots of soot about.

The candle's scent is rose absolute and spearmint essential oils and this is approximately meant to burn for up to 45 hours. Now I burnt this candle both through September and October and it lasted me 35 hours, which I still didn't think was too bad. This candle is handmade in the heart of the West Country. The scent is very uplifting and when burnt has just the right balance. The candle contains 100% natural wax made from certified vegan ingredients and is sourced from sustainable and renewable crops. It does not contain paraffin, petrochemical or palm waves and the wick is made of a lead free, natural fibre. So if you are looking for natural candles, this is definitely something you might want to invest in.

This candle costs £22 and it is 235g. Now I am no candle expert and I have no idea whether £22 for 235g is good or bad. Personally I wouldn't repurchase this candle and this is only because I prefer more fruity or cinnamon scents however I still really love the candle and think it's a lovely additional to an autumnal candle collection.

I would like to thank Oates & Co for sending me this wonderful candle and for being really lovely to work with. I would highly recommend them.

Have you bought anything from Oates & Co? Have you ever tried a Bramley Candle?

So the first offer that Yves Rocher is running on their site is a Big Online Game and this has officially started and it will run until the 4th January. There are 4 different sets up for grabs (sweet, trendy, 100% healthy and sunny) and each set is composed by 8 to 10 beauty products. It's just so exciting and I definitely think it's an offer you cannot miss. Winners will receive an email to confirm their prize by Mid-January. An exclusive voucher code is also given at the end of the game to please any loved ones. If you want to play the online game then you can by clicking here.

Then the second offer that Yves Rocher are offering on their site this month is Temptation Days. From the 23rd November until the 30th November you can get 44 bestselling products at 60% off. Now if you're wanting to do some Christmas shopping, this may be the perfect opportunity to do so.

Will you be doing a spot of shopping with the Temptation Days Offer and playing the big online game?

My Top 3 Candles for Autumn.

Hello everyone. So it is now cold November, it's not quite time to get totally festive but it's definitely the month that builds up to it. I never used to be a big candle fan and never really got the obsession but I am now pretty much obsessed and own about 13 candles. I have a busy November ahead of me and have already had such a busy start. At the start of November I took my two maths resit exams and had various assignment deadlines to meet and I've also managed to have a some-what social life. On the days when I haven't been rushed off my feet, I've liked relaxing with a burning candle and a hot chocolate and that brings me onto today's post. Today I will be talking about 3 candles that I think are perfect for Autumn and even into winter, so without further a-do I will share them with you.
So the first candle I have to show you is the Partylite Fig Fatale Candle from the  Forbidden Fruits Scented Candle Trio. The trio is £24.95 and the candles are meant to burn 20-30 hours. I believe the burn time is for each individual candle, as I have burnt another candle from the trio called Pomegranate Passion and it burned for 24 hours. The only downside to the candle I burned was that it didn't burn evenly. I have been burning a few Partylite candles and so a full review will be up on my blog in December so stay tuned for that. But this candle smells amazing. I find it so hard to describe scents but it smells of figs like the name suggests and it's a very fruity but fresh scent and it's probably my favourite scent out of the trio and I cannot wait to burn it.

The next candle is from Oates & Co. With a focus on hard-to-find, unusual but simple pieces, Oates & Co. is a carefully curated collection of beautiful yet practical homeware and gifts, helping you create a relaxed, lived-in home. Now the candle is actually made by the company Bramley. I'm not going to talk about this candle in too much detail as I actually have a review of this, going live on my blog very soon but if you are really into strong, fresh scents, this candle is definitely for you. The candle's scent is rose absolute and spearmint essential oils and this is approximately meant to burn for up to 45 hours. Now I burnt this candle both through September and October and it lasted me 35 hours, which I still didn't think was too bad. It's very fresh and the packaging is so lovely. This candle costs £22 and it is 235g.

Finally, this is the Twig + Dot Pumpkin Pie candle. This is a votive candle and it is available for £3. Now again I'm not going to talk about this candle too much as I did do a review of my Twig + Dot candles here but it is a wonderful candle and I would highly recommend it.

So these are the candles that I think are perfect for Autumn and even into winter.
What are your favourite candles?

What I Got For My Birthday!

Hello everyone. So it has officially been a month since I turned 17 and that it was my birthday. I got some lovely gifts from my friends and family. I am no way bragging about the things I have received from my family and friends but I just thought you might like to see what I got. The first item I did kindly receive was my birthday cake from Baker Days. Now I did a post talking all about Baker Days and you can read that here. But I just want to thank Baker Days again for being so kind and allowing me to review their wonderful Letterbox Cake!

I then received some love hearts, Beech's fine chocolates, Next Just Pink L'Eau, Yankee Candle in Pink Sands and some eyeliners.

Then I got a sweet pizza, a box of celebrations, a packet of celebrations, a frame with some photos and a poem (I could be so wrong) but it was so cute and I love it and it is now in my room and I had to keep this envelope that had one of my cards in because it's a thing me and my friends have.

I then got a notebook and pen, a mug that says 'Mrs. Always Right', a love heart with a quote on it , which I have hung on my bedroom door, a phone case and some party hats which me and my friends wore at my birthday meal.

Then I got the Lush Buttercup gift set which is one of the prettiest things and it smells amazing! My friends know me so well! I love Lush and I cannot wait to have a bath with it! I then got a 500 baking recipes book because I love to bake (as you may have guessed by now) and so that is a lovely new addition to my collection.

I am so thankful for everything I was gifted from my friends and family!
Has it been your birthday recently?

Fabi Boutique.

Hello everyone. So today's post is a collaboration with Fabi Boutique. Fabi is an Italian Luxury Shoes Manufacturer and it's shoes are made with top quality materials by Italian Artisans, which makes them really special. While I was on the website, I noticed that Fabi also do clothes and so I have decided to pick my Top 3 favourite items for both the woman section and the man section for Fabi's A/W collection 2015/2016.

This is such a gorgeous dress. It looks so warm and comfy and would literally go with anything.
These boots could be your winter essential. They look very hardwearing and are sophisticated and would go with anything. Dress and tights? Trousers and a blouse? These are such good quality and Suede leather is one of my all time favourites.
This coat is lovely. It's very unique and I've never seen a coat like it. It's very stylish and looks like it would go with most things.

This looks like a really cosy jumper and it is super stylish for all year round but especially winter.

For smart wear, this would be ideal as you can wear it with most shirts and could wear it for smart wear or even casual.

These brogues are so stylish and look super comfy. They look hardwearing and are perfect for winter and all year round.
So there are my top 3 items of both the woman section and the male section for Fabi's A/W Collection 2015/2016. As you can see Fabi Boutique isn't the cheapest of websites but their items are high quality.
Have you bought anything from Fabi Boutique before?

Disappointing Products #2.

Hello everyone. So this post has been waiting to be written for quite a while now but I've been waiting until I had a little collection. I don't like having disappointing products, hence why this is my 2nd post. I normally find products that I enjoy and therefore they don't disappoint me but along the way I have found some products that just haven't worked for me. A slight disclaimer to this is, that just because a product doesn't work for me, doesn't mean it won't work for you. I also probably love other products from these brands, just not this particular product. If you want to see my first disappointing products post then you can read it here.

*Cocoa Brown Lovely Legs Spray - I was really disappointed with this product, mainly because I was expecting it to be amazing. I have tried other Cocoa Brown products and absolutely love them, so I had high hopes for this. Sadly, it wasn't meant to be. I just found that it didn't matter how I applied it, I just never got a smooth application. It became patchy on my legs and just looked horrible. I even emailed Cocoa Brown to ask them for some advice on how to apply it and I followed their steps and it still didn't work. My skin obviously doesn't like this product, which is a shame because I love most of the Cocoa Brown Range. I tried this product on 10 different occasions and I still got the same effect every time I used it. I have to be honest, I've never used 'Leg Make Up' before but it didn't make the slightest bit of difference. At £7.99, it's not too expensive and it's a few pounds cheaper than the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Make Up. Although the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs comes in a lotion as well as the spray and in different shade ranges.

Witch: Witch Hazel Bursting Beads Face Wash - One of the worst face washes I have ever used. It claims to clear up your skin and help with blemishes and it did neither for me. It was too 'soapy' I get that it's a face wash but it just didn't feel very nice. It had the bursting beads in it, which I was really excited about but they did nothing and left me very disappointed. I've sadly been disappointed with a few Witch products that I've tried. In the end, my skin started to break out because of this product and I just really didn't like it. At £3.99, it's not exactly going to break the bank but I personally don't think this product does what it claims.

*Clarins Beauty Flash Eye Revive (3ml) - I first mentioned this product back in April when I got sent it from and you can read that post here. In that post I said that I loved it and the more I used it, the less I became to like it. I found a better eye cream and it really changed my opinion. It didn't really sink into my under eye area and it didn't really do anything for me. I'd never used an eye cream until I got this, but now that I have my Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado, I find that the Clarins Beauty Flash Eye Revive isn't as good as I once thought. I featured the Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado in another post in April to celebrate their anniversary and you can read it here.

The Body Shop Orange Lip Roll-On - I bought this product last November when I was spending a bit too much money on The Body Shop's website - which is normally the case. I don't think you can get this online anymore but you may still be able to get these in-store but I'm not 100% sure. I'd never heard of a lip roll-on as such and I was intrigued to see what results it would show. I do like the roll-on part of this product; it's cooling and it's easy and can be easily cleaned. The thing I don't like about this product is that it's not particularly moisturising and it can be slippery on the lips. Overall I was very disappointed with this product and considering I paid £4 for it, I hoped it was going to be amazing but it's not as good as a lip balm.

*Australian Bodycare Anytime Balm - This product was such a disappointment. I liked the packaging but if I saw it in a shopping centre, I probably wouldn't be tempted to pick it up. I was excited to try this product because I've been trying quite a few multipurpose balm's out at the moment and I'd previously been using the DR. PAWPAW Mulitpurpose Balm which you can see my review here. I had very high hopes for this product (Australian Bodycare Anytime Balm) but it let me down badly. When I opened the lid and smelt the product, it didn't particularly smell very nice. I can't really describe the smell but it's not very pleasant. Then I tried the product. It looked really creamy but it wasn't. I really struggled to lather it up because it just wouldn't budge out of the pot. Once I'd struggled to get some of the product out of the jar, I put it on some of my extremely dry skin. After 30 minutes, all of the skin started to peel. Now if I'd have been wanting an exfoliating session, it would have been perfect but I didn't. If I were to go out in public with this product on my face and it started to peel off my skin, it wouldn't be a very pleasant sight and I'd be very embarrassed. It didn't moisturise my face in the slightest and it was just a huge disappointment. I tried it on my lips as a lip balm and it didn't moisturise them at all. They remained dry and flaky. For £13.50, it's not the cheapest of products compared to the DR. PAWPAW Multipurpose Balm which works 110% better and is a lot cheaper.

*Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Mascara - You will see that I already spoke about this in my Latest In Beauty Review, which you can read here. It's an okay mascara. It didn't blow me away and I did find that it tends to fall down on your face after about 20 minutes of you wearing it. I've used better mascaras and for a lot cheaper than this one and so this is why I'm disappointed. It's definitely nothing special but it's not the worse mascara I've ever tried. For £9.99 it's not the most expensive mascara on the market but there are definitely better mascaras on the market for an even cheaper price.
So they are all my disappointing products! I hope you enjoyed this post!

Miss A Make Up Look.

Hello everyone, so today I thought I'd do a post showing you the make up bits from Miss A. If you hadn't seen, last month I did a Miss A Haul post but if you didn't see it, you can here. But I only shared swatches and so today I thought I'd show you all the make up bits on my face. Now we have to ignore the bad hair situation but without further ado I'll talk you through the make up. I have only used the make up from Miss A for this make up look.
Elf Natural Lash Kit (1713) - Although these lashes were very natural, the glue was rubbish. They didn't stay on the eyes (as you may be able to notice on the photos) and kept falling off and they weren't the easiest to apply but for $1, they aren't too bad.
Elf Foundation Brush (1801) - I really liked using this brush, it blended my foundation fine, it didn't give me a "flawless" finish but it did a good job.

Morning Confession in Porcelain - This product is a concealer but it's just rubbish. The product didn't come out and when a tiny bit did, it did nothing other than go patchy under my eyes.

Moist & Smooth Blush Stick in Color 8 - I really like this blush. I'm not normally the type of person to go for cream blushes but I really like this one. It's very pigmented and blends nicely. I'd definitely say this shade is more of a summer shade, for me personally, but it definitely gives you a pop of colour.

Kleanista Lipstick in Happily After - This lipstick was really pigmented but the colour just didn't suit me at all. It was most of a lilac shade on my lips than a pink and it just didn't look nice. However I did love the formula.

E.L.F Essential Shimmering Facial Whip in Spotlight - This product is quite nice, I'm just trying to figure out the best way to apply it. I do find that this is a natural highlighter and that is what I love about it. It is really easy to blend and looks lovely. I would really recommend this product.

L.A. Colors Jumbo Pencil in Iridescent Light - One of the worse products I have ever come across. I'm not sure if it was because of the shade I had but the formula of this pencil was just not great. It didn't apply very easy to the lid and the pencil has massive chunks of blue glitter in it. I definitely wouldn't try one of these again.

L.A. Colors Liquid Makeup in Natural - I was really looking forward to trying this product and I got the lightest shade because I am so pale but unfortunately, like most foundations I try these days, they are too dark for me or should I say too orange. I blended this into my skin for a good 10 minutes and it just looked cakey and horrible.

So that's all the make up I used for this make up look, personally I'm not a fan but I'll let you be the judges.

I want to say a big thank you to Miss A again for letting me work with them.

Have you tried any of this make up?
